Galinhos: one of the best tours along the west coast, 90 km exploring the deserted beaches, dunes and lagoons that go from São Miguel do Gostoso to Galinhos with lots of emotions! It goes along  incredible regions such as: Tourinhos, Praia do Marco, Enxu Queimado, São Bento do Norte and Dunas de Galos. 8 hour tour, up to 4 people.

Parrachos de Perobas (snorkeling): 30 km from São Miguel do Gostoso, the route can be done by buggy or by car. Perobas is the starting point for diving in the parrachos, where crystalline waters that form in natural pools and corals enchant visitors. It’s necessary to check in advance the departure times of the boats, since the rides are always done at low tide. It’s possible to have lunch at the beach of Perobas before returning to Gostoso (non included).

WHAT

The Sky: it’s unquestionable: São Miguel do Gostoso sky view is unique.

– Sunset at Tourinho’s beach: considered one of the most beautiful beaches of the northeast coast, is a cove of clear and warm water, with a giant dune that petrified about 2.000 years ago and became a cliff about 8 meters height with breathtaking views. It’s only 8 km from São Miguel do Gostoso, being possible to arrive by buggy or by car. In addition to the sunset (which is amazing and different every day), at this beach it is possible to see the “sigh of the wale” (when the tide rises and the jets of water sneeze from a formation of corals, imitating the squirt of the whale).

Also, falling stars, Full Moon with luau at the beach and moonrise are frequent phenomena for those who like to observe the nature.

Birth of Sea Turtles: sea turtles are fundamental species for the balance of nature and the species “Eretmochelys imbricata” risked of extinction, comes every year to our waterfront to spawn. After an incubation period of 45 to 60 days, the birth of the turtles takes place and, thanks to a monitoring done by ONG AMJUS, it’s possible to witness this spectacle of nature. It’s a magical and unforgettable moment!

Follow @AMJUSONG on Facebook to know birth dates and contribute by staying away from the yellow flags found on the beaches, which sign turtle nests.
